This is a great technique for using up all those paper scraps too –

these are from the Be of Good Cheer paper set …

It gives the appearance of lots of layers, but the card remains flat –

great for posting.

Hello. Cute cards 😊. I have a question about the “merry” die. I own it and every time I use it, it doesn’t cut all the way through the paper. Any tips? Thanks.

  Hi. You didn’t leave your name, but thanks for your comments. To answer your question, there are a few tricks you can try to make sure your die cuts all the way through.
  
  1) Make sure that the sandwich you are using is correct for your particular die cutting machine – each machine will be set slightly differently, so you may need to add a card shim to add a little more pressure to get your die to cut through.
  
  2) Try adding a sheet of wax paper between the die and your cardstock – this will ensure your die cut comes out from the die cleanly.
  
  3) Take a few dryer sheets, fold them in half and run them through your machine with your die and die cut. Your die cut should be pressed to the sheets and you can then easily peel this off and add to your project. (Karen Burniston has a tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCKaBy116v0 )
