Hi and happy Wednesday to you!
Can you believe how quickly the weeks are flying? Just five more Saturdays to Christmas! Which means 5 more opportunities to join in the fab challenges over on the Sketch Saturday challenge blog … or 6 if you are quick and join in this week’s challenge – there is still time to play along …
And it is a great sketch this week, which is exactly why I grabbed some pretties from my crafty stash to make this card to enter …
I inked up my favourite new stamp set again – festive flurry – with the matching framelits, and stamped the greeting from more merry messages onto a strip of winter frost designer series paper …
I cut out a scalloped border with the adorning accents edgelit from the designer series paper, but decided to use the negative piece instead – I thought it looked like little icicles …
I added a little dazzling diamonds to the snowflake for some seasonal sparkle …
I’m hoping that my card also fits the Less is More challenge for this week, so I’m entering it there too … a second entry for me this week – unheard of! Maybe it’s the Christmas feeling that’s been quietly descending on me … like the gentle flurry of snow we had here yesterday.
And, as I used only snippets of winter frost designer series paper to make the card, I’m going to play along in Pixies Snippets Playground too.
Hope to see you again on Saturday for some more Christmas creations …
Here’s what I used to make today’s card – all supplies from Stampin’ Up!:
cardstock: soft sky, whisper white, winter frost dsp; stamp sets: festive flurry, more merry messages; inks: black stazon, soft sky; accessories: adhesive rhinestones, dazzling diamonds, two way glue pen, stampin’ dimensionals, festive flurry framelits, adorning accents edgelits, bigshot machine.
I love receiving your messages, so if you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, do please leave me a comment.
Thanks for dropping by today
