A fabulously floral Mother’s Day …

I received some beautiful flowers for Mother’s Day … 

They are gorgeous and I’m sure my photos don’t do them justice – they are stunning in real life, and the colours are amazing – I feel totally spoiled.

In cake class this week, we made a floral plaque …

And I made some Mother’s Day cards for my friends using the fresh vintage sale-a-bration stamp set …

a pink and a blue …

 

I stamped the same design I’d used on my gift bags here.  

I liked the way the blue one turned out so much that I made a smaller, A6 size version for a birthday card we made at Velda’s craft evening this week too…

I love the effect of the two tone colours on the main image.

Bashful blue and marina mist colours go so well together.

Every little bit…

One of my favourite stamp sets at the moment is Every Little Bit.  There are 28 stamps in the set, and it really does seem to have a stamp for every occasion, which I love!  I used it to make this Mothers’ Day card:

Mini marvel…

My friend, Jackie, is my guest stamper today.  She has used lots of lovely goodies from the new mini catalogue for her card.  The punched flower focal point looks so lovely, and the designer series paper background is just gorgeous – I love it!
