Clean and simple Christening card …

When my daughter asked me to make a Christening card for her friend, I used the My Special Day stamp set from Stampin’ Up! …

I love the clean and simple look of the card.  My stamp-a-majig from Stampin’ Up made it so easy to line up the image and sentiment – could not have done without it!

First Holy Communion…

My lovely friend, Sarah, asked me to make some First Holy Communion cards for her niece.

I had lots of fun playing with textures with the lattice embossing folder from Stampin Up.  I inked up the folder with my brayer before running it through the Big Shot to highlight the cross shapes and make it look more like a stained glass window.

I also did some heat embossing with clear powder embossing powder.

I used the scallop trim border and corner punches to create a cross shape and added rolled roses for embellishment.

The sentiments on both cards were computer generated.
