Chocolate Valentine …

More projects from the recent craft night… I love the way these colours look so good together – just perfect for Valentines, but by changing the colours and the sentiment, the card could be used for an anniversary, an engagement, a wedding, or even just because …

We used the ink resist and direct to paper technique on glossy white cardstock to make the central heart, and popped it up on stampin’ dimensionals over the linen thread, wrapped around a square of textured whisper white cardstock.

And a little sweet treat box in matching colours …

All three projects together …

Margaret made us all giggle - we had sweeties to go inside the sweet treat box but she’d nearly eaten all hers by the time we came to make it!

Sweet Valentine …

I had the best time last night – I was lucky enough to spend time with some lovely ladies who I met through Stampin’ Up.  It was great to meet other people who love crafting as much as I do, and of course there was cake, a cuppa, and lots and lots of giggles!

We made 3 different projects … all with a Valentine theme.  This was my favourite …

I love the way Stampin’ Up products all co-ordinate with each other – it makes putting together cards and projects an absolute dream …

The heart image from the new perfect postage stamp set, from the new mini catalogue, goes so well with the sweetheart stamp set, from the main catalgue – those polka dots … I just love them!

And I would not be without my stamp-a-majig.  It made it so easy for me to line up the images perfectly – such a cool tool!

Charming background papers…

What I love most about the Charming stamp set from Stampin’ Up is how easily the stamps can be used to make your own background papers.  I loved playing with the stamps and trying out stamping in a random pattern, or using my stamp-a-majig for perfect placement.

A few months ago, I received a beautiful card from my friend, Deborah.  I admired it so much I asked her if I could case it … Stampin’ Up! style.  This is my take on it…

And this is Deborah’s original…

A big thank you to Debs for letting me copy and share her design – she is such a talented crafter and a fabulous friend.

Charming wee thank yous …

More projects from my inspiration station – this time, a set of little thank you cards…

I love this colour combination – pool party, rose red and whisper white.

My stampa-ma-jig really helped with lining up the sentiments and the images too…
